John Jenkins is the capo of the club. Although outwardly genial, he rules his domain with a reign of terror and intimidation. Under his ruthless command the club is destined to expand into the world's leading supplier of Fiat 500-related leisure events. Some of this may not actually be entirely accurate.

Steven Abbott has lived and worked in Rome but, drawn by the timeless beauty of Surrey's own eternal city, now lives in Woking. So far he has failed to destroy his engine.

Sheridan Bowie drives a '68 Gamine Vignale and is working on a register of these rare cars. He organises the events, but sadly not the yet the weather. He also maintains the Fiat Gamine Register

Picture: Jenny Squillaci
Jenny Squillaci spends most of her time begging people to write articles for the magazine. She and her husband Vittorio have a '68 F - Vittorio destroyed the engine by running it on Formula 1 racing fuel. Apparently it ran really well for a (quite short) while. How much trouble this got him in is not recorded.

Peter Siddall destroyed the engine of his '71 L whilst driving it back from Garlenda in a hurry. He runs a welding business, which would ordinarily make him everyone's best mate, but he doesn't do car bodywork. Or maybe that's just what he's telling us...

Jan and Jimmy Di Carlo are the founders of the club and now live in Italy close to the Fiat 500 Club Italia - where they are ideally placed to help those who've destroyed their engines driving to Garlenda. Jimmy's Alfasud-engined 500 is a miracle of engineering, and it will also be a miracle if he can persuade the fussy Italian authorities to allow him to keep it on the roads.

Nathaniel Cross is a wonderful, kind and considerate person as well as being the author of these biographies. He drives a '69 F and destroyed the engine in rather dull circumstances on the A3. Being thus devoid of outlandish stories of 500 derring-do he has little choice but to maintain this website in order to ingratiate himself with the others.

Eric Boswell, Dianne Morrone, Vincenzo Morrone, Vittorio Squillaci and Angela Bowie are committee members who don't hold a titled position.
